Аннотация:The influence of a high-frequency electromagnetic field on the ability of octadecyl bonded silica, poly-(2,6-diphenyl-p-phenyleneoxide)-Tenax GC and hydrophilized silica to preconcentrate benzene, naphthalene and phenol was tested. Breakthrough curves for aqueous solution of these compounds at pH 6.0 were evaluated with and without electromagnetic exposure of cartridges by spectrophotometric analysis of the fractions of the effluents. Elution curves of the analytes in methanolic eluates were measured in order to test the influence of the electromagnetic field on adsorption and desorption processes. The electromagnetic field was found to promote sorption of benzene and naphthalene from water onto Tenax GC increasing breakthrough volumes by a factor of 1.5-4.
