Аннотация:A steplike pattern of development is characteristic of soil as a component of ecosystems responsible for transforming their cyclic dynamics into a directed irreversible evolution. The history of an ecosystem evolution is adequately recorded in the soil profile. The differentiation of stages of soil and soil cover development is substantiated theoretically and empirically. Possibilities for the formation of different soil profiles within the last 1000 years are analyzed. A method of chronological correction of the soil profile for a given stage of its development is suggested. Models of isochronous soil cover patterns are considered.
