Аннотация:The influence of the reacting conditions on the formation of Cs(3)Fe(3)P(12)O(36) in fluxes of polyphosphoric acids is studied. The well-formed crystals of Cs(3)Fe(3)P(12)O(36) without admixture of other phases are found to arise upon heating of 85% phosphoric acid containing Cs(2)CO(3) and Fe(NO(3))(3) center dot 9H(2)O, the Cs : Fe : P atomic ratio of 5 : 1 : 15, in a carbon glass crucible at 400 degrees C for 10 days. Due to the high solubility of Cs(3)Fe(3)P(12)O(36) in the flux, the yield is 25%. The crystal structure of Cs(3)Fe(3)P(12)O(36) is determined.
