Аннотация:Using low-temperature nitrogen adsorption measurements and standard contact porosimetry, we determined parameters of the pore structure of a carbon-carbon friction composite: specific surface area, total pore volume, and pore volume-size distribution. The results demonstrate that the material is macroporous, with predominant pore radii in the range 1 to 100 mu m. Using two saturating fluids, octane and water, we established distinctions between the hydrophilic properties of the surface of different groups of pores in the composite material.
