- Аннотация: The integrated study of the key problems associated with experimental aircraft and flight test technologies is one of the main directions of the M.M. Gromov Flight Research Institute (Russian acronym - LII named after M.M. Gromov) activities. The leading flight research – that ones carried out long before the first prototype maiden flight – using experimental platforms (flying testbeds, in-flight simulators, large scale flying models, experimental aircraft) enable to work out new concepts and solutions in the area of aerospace high technologies and to prove its practical implementation. All this aimed at the creation of technological backlog to reduce technical and financial risks associated with the new competitive aircraft development, testing, and implementation into service. The paper outlines the LII vision and practical implementation activities on the aerospace flight research and test technologies
