Аннотация:A model is proposed for a noncontact reaction layer. It is capable of approximating the real spatial dependence of non-adiabatic electron transfer in the Marcus inverted zone. The model allows a rigorous analytical calculation of the rate constant of the transfer, accelerated by the mutual diffusion of the partners. The calculated effective transfer radius and its variation with the diffusion coefficient agree with the experimental data and also with a reasonable estimate of the exchange interaction and free energy of reaction in solvents of medium polarity.
