Аннотация:Accumulation of metals (Cd, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn) separately and from mixed solutions (CdPb, CdZn, PbZn, MnNi, and CdCuPb) was studied in short-term experiments with fractions of thalluses Laminaria aponica and L. saccharina. Species and metal specific patterns of distribution in biochemical pools of the thalluses were established. The main difference in accumulation of metals was determined by their presence/absence in cytoplasmic fractions. It was proposed on the basis of the metal content in the thallus fractions that competitive interactions between metals in mixtures arise in case of similar distribution of elements in fractions. At the same time some metals stimulate accumulation of the other metals only in the presence of Cu or Zn.
