Аннотация:It was shown that dependences of attraction constant on potential are linear for all of the studied alcohols, and their slope increases with lengthening of the carbon chain. Virtually identical attraction interaction is observed between molecules of the corresponding alcohols on cadmium and mercury. The observed decrease in the limiting adsorption difference of potential on the Cd electrode in comparison with the mercury electrode is also associated with reorientation. Calculated values of the adsorption equilibrium constant indicate the significantly smaller surface activity of the studied alcohols on cadmium in the vicinity of z. c. p. , which is associated with the increased energy of adsorption of water on this metal.
