- Аннотация: The paper focuses on the spatial organization, factors of differentiation and the current state of landscapes on a narrow coastal zone of the Black Sea. The nature reserve “Utrish” was here established to protect unique sub-Mediterranean landscapes of Russia rich in relic, rare and endemic species of flora and fauna that exit. Large-scale landscape map (1:25,000) of the western part of the reserve with some detailed schemes on model areas within the coastal zone have been compiled on the basis of fieldwork and remote sensing analysis. Spatial organization, changes and current state of revealed landscapes was analyzed. The coastal landscape was of a particular interest, regarding its high diversity and ecological functions. Some measures for improving the current state and restoration of landscapes were suggested
