- Аннотация: On the basis of the Grahame-Parsons (GP) model supplemented by the condition of linear dependence of the charge-transfer coefficient lambda on the total electrode charge, equations are derived for calculating equilibrium differential capacity curves (the C0, E0-curves) of an ideally polarizable electrode in a mixed electrolyte with constant ionic strength. It is shown that a formal analysis of Br- adsorption in a model system Hg/[H2O + mcKBr + (1 - m)cKF], carried out on the basis of the resulting C0, E0-curves and on the assumption that lambda = 0, gives results inconsistent with the GP model.
