Аннотация:The radical polymerization of 2,3,4,5,6-pentafluorostyrene (PFS) and 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) in the presence of chain transfer agent - 4-cyano-4-(phenylcarbonothioylthio)pentanoic acid, was studied. It was shown that PFS polymerization proceeds through a reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer polymerization mechanism, and that of HEMA is more complicated. The synthesis conditions ensuring the preparation of amphiphilic diblock copolymers (DC) without an admixture of by-products generated by uncontrolled radical polymerization of PFS were found. Comparative study of contact angles versus water (θН2О) and diiodomethane (θCH2I2) of nylon fabric samples, treated with DC containing 37 mol. % PFS-units, and homopolymer of PFS (PPFS) was conducted. It was shown that the nylon fabric treated with DC has higher θН2О = 125 3º and θCH2I2 = 1015º than PPFS coatings (θН2О = 102 2º и θCH2I2 = 741º).
