Аннотация:The present review summarizes the results of investigations
on the relationship between chemical structures and tribological
properties of heat-resistant tribostable thermoplastics: amorphous
linear, crystalline linear and cardo polymers and copolymers. A
solution to this problem is provided by the introduction of a
notion of polymer antifrictionality, which represents the ratio of a
dispersion component to the total energy of intermolecular
interaction. It is also demonstrated that, besides the value of
antifrictionality which can be calculated by a computational
method, the tribological properties are determined by a polymer
molar mass.
