Аннотация:The radiation generated on the drag and explosions of fragments Q2 and Q1 and reflected from Io, fragment Q1 having been split into two large pieces, was recorded by means of photoelectric observations in the V band. The additional radiation produced by these three events amounted to 5 15% of the solar light reflected by Io and Europa. All the flashes occurred 12 16 min before the appearance of cooling "fireballs" from behind the Jovian limb (as observed by other investigators). These intervals are in accordance with the time needed for the fireballs to be transported to the Jovian visible side by its rotation (this time being dependent on the depth of the explosion point). The estimates of the energy released as electromagnetic radiation are 0.8*10^27 /p1, 0.8*10^28 / p2, and 1.2*10^28 / p3 erg for Q2, Q1a, and Q1b, respectively (where p1, p2, and p3 are the coeffi- cients of the Jovian atmosphere transparency in the direction from the explosion point to Io).
