Аннотация:By the example of homogeneous liquid-phase orto-xylene oxidation, a competitive kinetic model of noncatalytic oxidation via the radical unbranched-chain mechanism is considered. It is assumed that the intermediate compaund that inhibits the chain process is the free cycloalkylhydrotetraoxyl radical [{R(–H)H∙∙∙O4}]. By the method of quasi-stationary concentrations, kinetic equations, each involving 1-3 parameters to be determined directly, are derived for the rates of formation of the oxidation products (alkyl hydroperoxide, alcohols, carbonyl compounds, etc.).
