Zaitsev1,* 1Department of Chemistry, Moscow State University, Leninskye Gory, 1, 3,Moscow, 119991, RUSSIA,, Nowadays in organogermanium chemistry there are several main subjects, including synthesis and investigation of derivatives with non-typical valence states1 and catenated compounds.2 The properties and reactivity of these derivatives in large extent are effect/dependent on the organic substituents, therefore synthesis of novel Ge compounds, studying of their structure and properties is an important goal. Furthermore, application of typical organic reactions for the synthesis of organometallic compounds would open possibilities to develop organogermanium chemistry significantly. In this report our recent results on organogermanium chemistry are presented;these data include germylenes (I),3 catenated Group 14 derivatives (II)4 and germanes, containing organic groups suitable for further modification (III).
