Аннотация:At present neither direction nor magnitude of the interstellar magnetic field in the vicinity of the solar system are experimentally known. However, there are many papers concerning theoretical problems of its effect on the solar wind interaction with the local interstellar medium (LISM). Critical review of such papers are presented here. Possible effects of the interstellar magnetic field on H-atom penetration to the solar system are discussed. The first results of self-consistent model solution taking into account mutual effect of plasma component, H-atoms and interstellar magnetic field are given in an axisymmetric approximation which is correct in the case when the vector of the LISM velocity is parallel to the vector of the LISM magnetic field intensity.
