Аннотация:As things now stand, the Russian national football team is ranked 60-65 in the FIFA Coca Cola and www.ra-first.ru rankings. The team still faces problems of individual player's performance ratings and national team formation that are still critical from 1960ies and still solved by statistics of the technical and tactical actions of each player. The statistics, however, are often poorly correlated with the actual team performance, and the problems are addressed solely by the expert/coach assessments. The football data processing model offered by the article has its benefits over the traditional discretional decision-making model as it takes full advantage of the IT technology application in modern sport management process. Inputs for the football data processing model basically include the balance of the lost and won game contacts for the Russian Football Super League players, plus 60 other game elements taken into account. The balance data were processed by a system of linear equations (SLE) to produce the players' ratings classified by the game elements; with an option of the balances and ratings being computed for every upcoming match. The model gives the means to find the following: best team composition for a match as required to counter the opponent's team balance; line-up of the team by the best balances of the won and lost game contacts; players' substitutions and replacements over the match; recommended numbers of the game contacts for every players in every game element; and the potentially most advantageous combinations recommended by the database.
