Аннотация:Spectral observations of Nova Aql 1993 near its maximum were made in the lambdalambda 3900 - 9400 angstrom interval with two CCD-receivers. Apart from the hydrogen lines, the following emission lines were observed in the spectrum of the nova: Fe II 27, 35, 37, 46, 48, 49, 58, and 74 multiplets; CaII, MgII, CII, NII, OI, CI, and NaI emissions, as well as [OI] and [NII] forbidden lines. From the absorption components the velocity of the principal spectrum was found to be from -700 to -900 km/s, and that of the diffuse enhanced spectrum, about -1500 km/s. The lambda5680 NII line has an absorption component shifted by about -2300 km/s. The nova's light curve is similar to the light curves of FH Ser or DQ Her. The rate of early decline in the B-band was found to be log100d(B) = 0.86, and t3,V = 30d, resulting in the value M(V, max) = -7.62m for the absolute magnitude of the nova at its maximum. By its rate of development, Nova Aql 1993 is classified as a moderately fast nova.
