Аннотация:A concept of the development of a unified algebraic scheme for information representation in problems of image analysis and recognition is suggested. The advantages of the algebraic approach are due to the unification of the known methods for image processing and formalization. This approach allows us to construct unified schemes of algorithms and classify them according to their purposes, possibilities, types of input and output information, etc. The algebraic technique makes it possible to implement flexible and fast-operating apparatus for analyzing initial information and constructing representations convenient for solving applied problems. The algebraic scheme of representation provides descriptions of recognition data whose formalization level corresponds with that of the Zhuravlev's algebra of algorithms, which gives a unified approach to the description of recognition algorithms
