Аннотация:Aim of the study was to compare the internal representation of verbal communication by subjects with disturbances of communication means (stuttering) and communication motivation (children with behavioral problems). Material and methods. 12 stutterers, 10 learning disable children with communication problems and 10 subjects without communication problems had to represent "My speech and Myself" by 2 circles and then to give comments to own drawing. Results. 70% of subjects without communication problems put the circle "Speech" inside or intersected with the circle "Myself". Verbal communication is perceived as an internal part of own being. Most comments to drawings were evaluated by experts as emotionally positives. No one child with communication problems and only two stutterers put the circle "Speech" inside the circle "Myself". Only 13% of their comments were positives. Conclusion. Communication disturbances are related to deficient internal representation of verbal communication. Acknowledges.
