Аннотация:The authors produce recommendations on how to improve tools used for intercultural training evaluation. These recommendations relate to language aspects of scales, social desirability aspects of answers received from respondents, and technical aspects of data collection and analysis.
The recommendations arose from the experience of the development of an evaluation tool for the Training of Intercultural Trainers (TOIT) that took place in Krakow, Poland, in March 2016 conducted by the Young Society of Intercultural Education, Training and Research (Young SIETAR). The tool was used in a format of a pre- and post-test survey conducted by the Research Team of Young SIETAR. Results of the TOIT-2016 effectiveness study are discussed as well.
