The prediction of specific humoral immune responses using the baseline immune status parametres in children, vaccinated with measles-mumps-rubella vaccineстатья

Аннотация:The aim of the study was finding the marker-predictors among the baseline immune status parameters to predict the protective level of specific antibodies one month after vaccination with trivalent live attenuated measles, mumps and rubella vaccine Priorix and the maintenance the level of antibodies in a year. Nineteen immune status parameters (absolute and percentage quantity of leukocyte, lymphocyte, subsets of the CD3+, CD3+CD4+, CD3+CD8, CD3-CD19+ CD3-CD16/56+ cells, serum level of IgM, IgG, IgA, IFN-γ, IL-4, and TNF-α) were measured in 40 children aged 1-2 years old (21 boys and 19 girls) before vaccination with Priorix. Seven predictors of protective level of specific antibodies in a month after vaccination for mumps, 7 predictors for rubella, and 4 predictors for measles were found by Bayesian networks. Three predictors of maintenance the antibody level one year after vaccination for mumps and 2 predictors for measles viruses were determined by multivariate correlation analysis. Estimation of the prediction quality demonstrated highly significant level (p < 0,05). The prediction algorithm for the strength and robustness of the specific humoral immune responses was suggested to be used for decision-making in measles-mumps-rubella vaccination policies.
