Аннотация:The iso-intensity line curvature algorithm in laser ektacytometryof red blood cells is investigated by numerical simulation.The algorithm is designed to measure the average deformability,as well as the width and asymmetry of the red blood cell deformabilitydistribution in a blood sample under study. The accuracyand scope of the algorithm are determined. Using a bimodal ensembleas an example, the possibility of determining the fraction ofweakly deformable red blood cells in a blood sample by laser ektacytometryis demonstrated.
