Аннотация:The relevance of the proposed study is due to the fact that at present, аs a result of the processes of globalization and the active development of academic mobility in higher education institutions around the world, and in the Russian Federation in particular, the number of foreign students studying has significantly increased. The question of their adaptation and socialization, the implementation of general interaction and inclusion in an integrated academic educational environment by default involves the teacher and the student using the skills and competencies necessary to form a constructive dialogue between representatives of different cultures, taking into account their distinctive features and polarities of mentality. The purpose of this article is to generalize foreign experience and analyze the specifics of the phenomenon of language animation as an effective way of teaching a language, as well as means of accelerating and increasing the efficiency of students' adaptation processes. The article discusses the possibilities of using language animation in order to increase the productivity of the general interaction of Russian and foreign students, to harmonize the psychological climate of the interethnic educational group and to include intercultural competence in the educational process.
