Аннотация:The subject of this paper is the images of living statues and paintings in essays
and lyrics of Heinrich Heine. The methodology of the analysis is based on mythological
studies (A. F. Losev, О. М. Freidenberg, N. V. Braginskaia) and studies of Heine's
poetry (S. P. Gidzheu, V. А. Pronin, S. Würfel, L. Wesemann). In the work of Heine,
the images of living statues are often subjected to symbolization or travesty, demonstrating
a certain inconsistency of the mimetic idea in plastic art, that is to capture one
frozen moment. An image of ideal, inaccessible beauty is verified by human imagination,
which gives the object reproduced in art subjective emotionality and dynamics.
