Аннотация:Adsorption at water – air interface and micelle formation in water for nonionic gemini surfactants Dynol® 600 series with different degree of oxyethylation (5 and 6, respectively) and Surfynol® 2502 were investigated. Colloid- chemical properties of surfactants given were studied, their adsorption characteristics were experimentally determined. The decrease in the oxyethylation degree results in an increase in surface activity. The influence of the propoxylated group on these characteristics is ambivalent. Gemini surfactants have higher surface activities in comparison with monomeric surfactants (sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium Laureth sulfate). The wetting ability of Dynol® 600 series and Surfynol® 2502 on Teflon surface was studied. The decrease of the surfactant oxyethylation degree of Dynol® 600 results in improvement of wetting properties. Surfynol® 2502 takes an intermediate position among them. For gemini surfactants examined cloud point dependence from the oxyethylation degree is typical for ethoxylated nonionic surfactants.
