Аннотация:This paper presents a study of the influence of basalt rocks phase composition, acidity modulus and structural parameter NBO/T on the tensile strength and elastic modulus of basalt continuous fibers on their base. The series of BCF samples based on 14 different basalt deposits was obtained under equal conditions. The tensile strength of the fibers from different deposits varies in the range from 1495 to 3380 MPa. The elastic modulus of the fibers from different deposits varies in the range from 58.2 to 78.7 GPa. Using the original methodic of quantitative phase analysis based on Rietveld method the phase composition of 14 deposits was defined. All deposits can be used to obtain fibers based on them. In the studied natural rocks, the main component is tectosilicates. The mass content of framework aluminosilicates is in the range from 16.5 to 93.3 mass percent. The second main component of basalts is inosilicates. The mass content of chain aluminosilicates is in the range from 6.0 to 58.0 mass percent. The correlation between the phase composition, acidity modulus, ratio of non-bridging oxygens to tetrahedral cations, tensile strength, elastic modulus of the continuous fibers based on 14 different basalt deposits were calculated. It was shown strong correlation between tectosilicate minerals mass content and elastic modulus (PCC value is 0.7) and strong correlation between the content of chain and layered aluminosilicates and the elastic modulus of continuous basalt fibers (PCC value is minus 0.74).
