- Аннотация: Finite duration of bottom deformation in a tsunami source is not usually taken into account in description of tsunami generation. Whereas theoretical estimation provide the evidence that dynamics of bottom deformation has certain influence on resulting tsunami waves. In this study, taking the 2003 Tokachi-oki tsunamigenic earthquake as example, we compare dynamic and static (traditional) approaches in description of tsunami generation.
