Аннотация:Feeding of three-spined (Gasterosteus aculeatus L.) and nene-spined (Pungitius pungitius L.) sitcklebacks collected in the Chernaya River estuary (Kandalaksha Bay, the White Sea) was characterized related to their mi- crobiotic distribution. The most fresh and warmest water in the estuary attracts both species. The main food of these animals is chironomid larvae and pupa. The local and age changes in the food of these sticklebacks are considered. The composition and distribution of benthos is analyzed. Despite the significant differences in the distribution of benthic populations, the main food of the sticklebacks consists of the same species.
