Аннотация:B-Phycoerythrin, the major phycobiliprotein of Bangiophyceae red algae, is composed of chromophorylated α-, β- and γ-polypeptide chains. Two γ-subunits with distinct molecular masses were chromatographically separated from B-phycoerythrin of the red alga Porphyridium cruentum. Both γ-polypeptides were spectrophotometrically identified as having the same composition of five chromophoric prosthetic groups: three phycourobilins and two phycoerythrobilins.
