Аннотация:Presented the review of the work on the use of accelerated electrons as possible alternative energy carriers in energy-intensive technologies. The following areas of radiation-chemical and radiation-thermal technologies are considered: leaching from non-ferrous metal ores, decomposition of carbonates, intensification of ore preparation and mineral processing, destruction of rocks, modification of concrete, cracking of petroleum products, paraffins, lignin, processing of natural gas into motor fuel, gas-phase synthesis, purification of waste gases from metallurgical production and thermal coal-fired power plants, radiation treatment of wastewater to disinfect them, transmit energy over long distances, correct weather conditions with a collimated beam of high-energy electrons. An assessment of the technological state of work in each area is given and the possibilities of technical implementation of promising projects are shown.
