Аннотация: Настоящая статья открывает цикл статей, посвященных развитию конституции Великобритании на протяжении ХХ – в начале XXI в. В ней раскрывается сущность британской конституции, ее специфические особенности, показывается история принятия и значение Актов о парламенте 1911 и 1949 гг., смысл изменений, внесенных ими в традиционную юридическую конструкцию британского государственного строя.
This article opens a series of articles devoted to the development of the constitution of Great Britain during the XXth and beginning of the XXIst century. It reveals the nature of the British constitution, its specific characteristics, showing the history of the adoption and significance of the Acts of Parliament in 1911 and 1949, the meaning of the changes made by them in the traditional legal construction of the British political system.
