Аннотация:In the paper has been analyzed the state of the tropical forests in Central African Region. The trends and causes of deforestation are revealed, and the associated decrease in the ecosystem function of tropical forests CO2 sequestration by atmosphere. Model calculations based on the Spatial Model of the Global Carbon Cycles in Atmosphere - Plants Soil System (APS) represent the response of vegetation to an increase in the concentration of carbon dioxide in the air and quantitatively determine the parameters of the biotic regulation of tropical forests. In order to assess the state of vegetation cover, in addition to model calculations, remote sensing data were used. The NDVI index was determined during the growing seasons (2000-2019)
