Аннотация:In the course of agricultural activity agrolandscapes and a special type of anthropogenic loading are formed. Special methodological approaches of componentwise and integral analysis of ecological consequences of agricultural development in the regions of Russia and Kazakhstan are necessary for their consideration. Those countries have large areas, contrasting landscapes and a large number of territories where agricultural impact is a significant factor for the state of the environment. The agricultural impact on the environment in the regions of Russia and Kazakhstan is defined, first of all, by agrarian specialization and intensity of agricultural production, though regions of Kazakhstan are more polarized since most of them develop extensively. The territorial structure of the agrarian complex considerably changed in 1990-2016, the role of the southern regions in both countries amplified. As the intensity of agricultural production is growing, the degree of dependence of the agricultural impact on production dynamics is reducing, owing to its localization. Key words: agriculture, agricultural impact, integral index, environmental stress, agrarian landscape, ecology, agricultural index.
