Аннотация:We have considered in this paper the basic physical andchemicalpropertiesofnickel-basecement-containingmethanation catalyst NIAP-07-07 (NKM-7). The catalyst wasinvestigated by various methods including determination ofcatalyticactivity,temperature-programmedreduction,decomposition,andjointtemperature-programmeddecomposition and reduction. We found that the interaction ofnickel hydroxo-carbonate with aluminum oxide in theaqueousammoniamediumproducesnickelhydroxo-carboaluminate, which is the precursor of the activecomponent of the catalyst. It was found that the value of themechanical strength of the catalyst significantly depends onthe amount of technical calcium aluminate, which is added totheNi-Alcomposition.Takeintoaccountoptimizedcompositions catalyst are considered, including when thecontentoftheactivecomponentisdifferent.Themanufacturing technology of the catalyst is worked out inrelation to the conditions of its industrial production. Thedeveloped catalyst (NIAP-07-07) has a high catalytic activity,thermal stability and mechanical strength and is characterizedby a reduced activation temperature. The catalyst can be madefrom the same mix material in the form of a ring, a cylindricaltablet and extrudates with different geometric dimensions.
