Аннотация:The lower body negative pressure (LBNP) effect has been studied in terms of phase synchronization between spontaneous oscillations of blood pressure (BP) and heart rate (HR). The effect of LBNP (–30 mmHg) was generated by the Chibis-M complex, which was used for training the cardiovascular system in cosmonauts on-board the International Space Station (ISS) as a countermeasure to the post-flight orthostatic intolerance. According to the measurement procedure protocol, the subjects (seven young men) were in a supine position. It has been shown that LBNP leads to an increase in the strength of phase synchronization between spontaneous BP and HR oscillations in the frequency range of baroreflex waves (about 0.1 Hz).
