- Аннотация: Based on the example of the northeastern Caspian Sea and the Aral Sea, synchronous and asynchronous fluctuations in sea levels were analyzed in connection with the following factors and indicators: climatic fluctuations,the value of the North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) index, morphotectonic features of the region and the influence of economic activity. The author’s methodology of geoecological zoning in coastal regions to optimize nature management was described.
