Аннотация:The kinetic characteristics of the sorption of macroscopic components of air on nanocompositesbased on calcium alginate and carbon nanotubes are investigated using a model of intradiffusion kinetics and pseudo–first and pseudo–second order models. The crucial role of intradiffusion transfer in the adsorption of argon on nanocomposites is established. It is shown that the rate of nitrogen adsorption on nanocomposites is described by a pseudo–second order kinetic model, and the rate of oxygen adsorption is consistent with the model of intradiffusion kinetics. However, the effect of sorption of oxygen molecules on the active sites corresponding to the pseudo–second order model is enhanced upon raising the content of carbon nanotubes in nanocomposites. Results demonstrate the considerable role of localized adsorption and the availability of active sites in the adsorption of molecules with a quadrupole moment on heteropolar sorbents.
