- Аннотация: The article is devoted to the characteristics of different types of financial markets and the search of the definition for the financial market in general. The authors are trying to answer the question about the necessity for the existence for the unified financial market in the Russian Federation under supervision of the mega-regulator the Bank of the Russia. The article defines the segments of financial market, classifies financial markets, analyse the demand in creating unified rules for them, analyse the balance of state regulation and self-regulation in this sector.
