Dynamic of natural conditions and ancient population of east European steps from the bronze period up to the Middle Agesстатья

Аннотация:Studies of ancient soils of the Russian South, which are buried under the barrows, early Iron and Middle Ages (IV thous. BD-XIV c. AD) were undertaken. A new data on appropirateness of the step soil formation, epoch changes of the different soil feature and processes were received. On the base of paleosoils’ data a dynamic of natural condition during the last 6000 years was reconstructed. About 4000 years ago here was a paleoecological crises, and for XII-XIV centuries there was a Middle Aged climatic optimum. A role of the environment in the life of ancient farmers and cattle-breeders is examined. A correlation of natural and historical events that happened in the step of Russian south in the past centuries with another natural Eurasian regions were done.
