Аннотация:Abstracts of the XXth International Congress «Phytopharm-2016».Sex hormones particularly testosterone play important role in regulating reproductive homeostasis, ener¬gy metabolism and immune reactivity. The purpose of this work was to evaluate the effect of correcting the testosterone serum level in CBA mice males genetically predisposal to hepatocarcinomas using multiphytoadaptogene dry powder extract (MPAC) in early postnatal ontogenesis (preventive administration). MPAC was produced by a special desiccation technology of forty medical herbs water-ethanol extracts mixture. MPAC has wide spectrum of activities including immunomodifying and antitumor effects. The control mice (n = 100) received drinking water. The experimental mice (n = 100) received 0,3% MPAC solution in drinking water during the first month of a mouse's life which is the final differ¬entiation period of the normal liver. Serum testosterone concentration was analyzed by enzyme-linked immuno¬sorbent assay at the age of 4, 8 and 22 months. The results showed that the serum testosterone levels in control and experimental CBA males mice are practically the same (2,6±0,3 and 3,6±0,4 ng/ml correspondingly, p1-2 = 0,07) at the age of 4 months. The parameter is reduced down to 1,6 ±0,4 ng/ml in the control mice and to 2,8±0,2 ng/ml in the experimental mice (p1-2 = 0,01) by 8 months of age. The testosterone level in the experimental group (preventive administration of MPAC) was repressed to a lesser extent (0,8 ±0,1 ng/ml) if compared to the same period of ontogenesis (21-22 months) in the control mice (0,3±0,1 ng/ml, p1-2 = 0,001). Thus, MPAC can prevent serum testosterone level reduction during spontaneous hepatocarcinogenesis in mice.
