Аннотация:The finite-element method has been employed to calculate the photophoresis force applied to a solid spheroidal aerosol particle, the size of which is much larger than the mean free path of gas molecules. The thermal electromagnetic radiation from the particle surface and the temperature dependences of the density, viscosity, and thermal conductivity of the gaseous medium and the particle material thermal conductivity have been taken into account. The photophoresis force applied to the particle heated by an electromagnetic radiation flux directed along the particle symmetry axis has been numerically calculated.
