Аннотация:The sorption behavior of asphaltenes and their aggregates in non-aqueous (toluene) solutions on a surface-modified “core−shell” sorbent based on nanosized magnetite is studied. Asphaltenes were previously isolated from several types of heavy oil feedstocks and characterized by a complex of physicochemical methods. Based on the results of sorption studies, we can speak about the potential efficiency of the proposed sorbent for the extraction of asphaltene compounds, e.g., in industrial oil deasphalting or in sorption–analytical schemes for the determination of asphaltenes in oil products.
