Аннотация:The spatiotemporal variability of concentrations and ex port of in or ganic dis solved biogenicel e ments (ni tro gen and phospho rus) in the Yenisei River run off is as sessed. The analysis of changes in phos phate, nitrate, ni trite, and ammo nium con centrations in the river wa ter was car ried out from the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power sta tion tailwater (56° N) to the out let near Igarka (68° N). The enrichment of the Yenisei water with biogenic substances exported from the Krasnoyarsk Res er voir was found. Among the largest trib u taries, the Angara River has the great est ef fect on the concentration of inorganic nitrogen and phosphorus in the Yenisei runoff. The spring flood makes the maximum contribution to the an nual flux of biogenic el e ments. The summer-autumn pe riod, despite its du ra tion and significant water discharge, is char ac terized by the low fluxes of dissolved in or ganic ni tro gen and phosphorus, which in di cates an ac tive par tic i pa tion of biogenic el e ments in the biogeochemical pro cesses in theYenisei.
