Аннотация:In [1] (S. N. Molotkov, K. S. Kravtsov, and M. I. Ryzhkin, J. Exp. Theor. Phys. 128, 544 (2019)), the authors state that the decoy state method in the BB84 quantum cryptography protocol overestimates the achievable secret key generation rate, and therefore the generated key is not actually secret. This statement results from the error, acknowledged by the authors in [2] (S. N. Molotkov, K. S. Kravtsov, and M. I. Ryzhkin, J. Exp. Theor. Phys. 129, 319 (2019)); however, incorrect statements were made in [2] as well. Thus, incorrect statements in [1, 2] led to incorrect conclusions.
