Аннотация:The article considers different models of agricultural and social adaptation that have emerged in the rural areas of the Non-Chernozem (Non-Black Soil) zone due to its continuous depopulation and polarization of its developed space. Social innovations are directed towards sustaining the local communities and activization of social self-organization processes. Agricultural innovations are directed in most cases towards lessening human role in production and staff reduce, what matters within the context of labour and infrastructural decline.
