Аннотация:Our results showed that in normal aging memory recollection is worse in subjects with larger longitudinal length of the hippocampus: irregular extension of the hippocampus by its X-axis is associated with increased number of false retrievals regardless the domain (semantic vs. perceptual errors). The dissociation between two types of errors correlated with the loss of the volume in either the tail (perceptual errors) or the head (semantic errors) of the hippocampus (Z-axis transverse refinement).
