- Аннотация: The article dwells on the issue beset with the level of usage of the suffix -он/-s/-es in the Tajik literary language referring to the XIX-th century. It is underscored that the relevant suffix is considered to be one of the frequently-used ones. It is concluded that the suffix in question is used to plurify different kinds of nouns, such as animated and unanimated, personal and non-personal and borrowed words as well.
