Аннотация:The concepts of graph theory and geographical network analysis were used to reveal the main trends in changes in the spatial structure of the networks of land-based forms of transport and their constituent elements at various territorial levels. A special method of describing the processes occurring during the formation of the structure of the network was used to analyse the evolution of the rail network in the Urals, the tram routes in Kiev and the metro in Moscow. The main quantitative regularities in changes in the structure of the network are enumerated, and the typical time of origin of separate elements in the network is calculated. -translated by P.Cooke
