Аннотация:We study the properties of a finite volume scheme for the two-phase Stefan problem.The numerical algorithm based on the explicit interface tracking is considered. The mathematical model takes into account the convective motion in the liquid and heat transfer in bothphases. A fixed melting temperature and internal energy balance condition are given at thephase boundary. The moving interface position is determined using the front-fixing method.It is shown that the proposed computational scheme is conservative and inherits the genericproperties of the original differential problem.
